Charade

This is a fun game for everyone who is stuck and bored at home.

What you need:

  • Finger paints
  • Paper

Age restrictions: adult supervision advised

This is a variation of the well-known game, where you can also practice drawing with your children. One of you should guess an animal or an object and draw it bit by bit with the finger paints. With each step another person has one chance to figure out what is it. If it’s only two of you, you can limit the number of guesses, to make it harder. You can involve the other family members by letting everyone guess after another. Practice your imagination and painting skills together with extra fun!

Cloud shape spotting at home

Every person has a secret artist deep inside of it, all you need is to let him out!

What you need:

  • Finger paints
  • Paper
  • Pen or pencil

Remember how you were spotting the shapes of the clouds, when you were enjoying summer days? Here is how you can bring this funny tradition in your home. All you need is finger paints and paper – crumple the paper into a ball, cover it with the paint and press slightly against the paper sheet. Let it dry and here you go! Every person tend to recognize shapes and patterns in different objects – this is called by scientists pareidolia – and this is a secret door to of your imagination. Just focus on the random pattern that you created and draw over with a pencil everything that your imagination tells you! So, isn’t it even better than cloud spotting?

Bring your family together and make it fun!

What you need:

Bored again? To raise the spirit of your family members, create a magic monster that will help to fight the boring time during staying at home. First, each of you can create 5 or more different parts of the monster’s body, then one by one you can add a part to create a funny looking creature. Share your creations on your social channels and make it “viral” :))

3D-modeling with pasta

Bought a bit too much pasta last time? Here is how you can make a plastic-free 3D-constructor with your kid.

What you need:

  • Easy-Clay
  • Spaghetti or anything that looks like small sticks

Age restrictions: 3+ Small parts may become a choking hazard!

Break your spaghetti into even pieces and stick them together with a small ball of the Easy-Clay. Practice your constructing skills and build a tower or an entire castle with a minimum budget and without leaving your home!
