Can Easy modeling clay contain formaldehyde?

The main source of formaldehyde in cosmetics and wet-formulated toys comes from various preservatives. In our modeling clay, we use potassium sorbate — a very mild and safe preservative that poses no risk of formaldehyde or parabens. To make our clay even safer, we also avoid the use of alum due to widespread concerns about aluminum salts. Additionally, we refrain from using synthetic azo and phthalocyanine pigments, even those of cosmetic or food-grade quality — they simply don’t belong in natural products!
